Dr. Dalyann Ferrie (pronounced Fairy like a “tooth fairy”) was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She attended the University of Puerto Rico and majored in biology with a curriculum focused in pre-dental education. With a keen interest in a career in dentistry, Dr. Ferrie spent most of her summers of college shadowing different dental offices to learn more about as many disciplines of dentistry as possible. Dr. Ferrie received her DMD degree from the University of Puerto Rico Dental School of Medicine in 2010 and soon discovered a passion for treating children.

Later that same year, Dr. Ferrie was accepted into a General Practice Residency Program at Oklahoma University Health Science Center with Children’s Physician’s Hospital and VA Medical Center. During her time there, she realized that pediatric dentistry was without a doubt the area of dentistry that she enjoyed the most and wanted to pursue a career in that particular discipline.

Dr. Ferrie decided it was time to specialize in pediatric dentistry so she could provide the best care possible to her patients. She was accepted to the prestigious NYU Lutheran Langone Health System in Phoenix, AZ, completing the program in 2016. Soon after she became Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

When she is not taking care of patients, Dr. Ferrie enjoys spending time with her husband and two bengal cats who live in the Biltmore area. She enjoys gourmet cooking, traveling, reading, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with family and friends.
